Kailyn Lowry said she almost named her newborn son Aire but decided against it because it seemed “too Kardashian.”
In a TikTok video posted Friday, the “Teen Mom 2” alum, who revealed that her twins’ names were Verse and Valley last week, replied to a fan who said the baby girl and boy’s names were “too Kardashian” for her.
“If you think Verse and Valley are too Kardashian for you, then you’ll be happy to know that I didn’t name my son Aire. And I say that because Aire is actually a family name for me.”
Lowry, 31, noted that she almost went with that name because she has two grandfathers whose middle names are Aire.
“I feel like I have good reason to name my kids Verse and Valley. The stories are cute. I also think that even if I didn’t have a story for a kid’s name and I wanted to name my kids something, that’s fine,” she explained.
The mom of seven then urged her viewers to “name your kids whatever you want.”
“Whatever makes you happy and that’s it,” she concluded.
Coincidentally, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott legally changed their son’s name to Aire after originally giving him the moniker Wolf when he was born in February 2022.

Lowry first documented her journey to motherhood on Season 2 of “16 and Pregnant” in 2010. She welcomed her eldest son, Isaac, now 14, with Jo Rivera that January.
She then gave birth to son Lincoln, 9, with Javi Marroquin in 2013, as well as sons Lux, 6, and Creed, 3, with Chris Lopez, in 2017 and 2020, respectively.
The podcast host and her current boyfriend, Elijah Scott, are parents to son Rio, whom they secretly welcomed in November 2022.
Scott is also the dad to Lowry’s newborn twins, Verse and Valley, whom she delivered via C-section.
After welcoming her sixth and seventh child, the MTV alum got her tubes tied.
“They cut my tubes out,” she revealed on her “Barely Famous” podcast last month.
“I remember laying there thinking, ‘This is taking f–king forever.’”
Now that the former reality star is done growing her brood, she said she wants to get Ozempic injections and a mommy makeover.
