‘The View’ hosts noticeably absent at longtime producer Bill Geddie’s memorial

A “celebration of life”  was held for longtime news producer and co-creator of “The View,” Bill Geddie, on Sunday night.

And while “there was a great turnout” of behind-the-scenes folk from the show he created with the late Barbara Walters, Sunny Hostin was the only host — past or present — to make it, a source told Page Six.

“Seventeen years in charge [of ‘The View’], and only one host came? It’s inexcusable,” an attendee told us.

Friends — mostly from the TV biz — gathered at the West Side Comedy Club, below Playa Betty’s at 75th and Amsterdam Avenue in New York, to mark his passing.

We’re told attendees included ABC 7 news anchor Bill Ritter, several people from Barbara Walters Productions and “Good Morning America” in addition to Hostin, and production staff from “The View.”

“Where were all the other hosts from the show?,” the source said, “Bill was a great guy and beloved producer. The only one who wouldn’t agree would be Rosie O’Donnell.”

Other sources described the ladies’ absence as “just incredibly sad.”

Geddie was an executive producer on the show from 1997 to 2014.

A rep for “The View” did not get back to us. Another insider chalked up “The View” ladies’ absence as people “mourning differently.”

“Everyone handles it differently. Mourning is personal,” they said.

Geddie passed away from what his family described as “coronary related factors” in July. He was 68.
