Forget dad bod. He’s got Danza bod!
We hear 1980s heartthrob Tony Danza, 72, had beachgoers salivating over his topless physique at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas this week.
“He has a total model body,” a shocked spy breathlessly relayed to Page Six.
The source added it was the opposite of dad bod.
When we wondered, “You saw Tony Danza shirtless?” the source conformed, “Eight pack. Ripped. Body of a 28-year old” in a text from the beach.
The vacationer also said the “Who’s the Boss” star simultaneously, “gave us hope and put us all to shame.”
Vintage images dug up by Page Six’s crack photo team confirm the septuagenarian sitcom star is a stud.
A toned Danza, along with VIPs including Katie Couric, Adrien Brody, Marcia Gay Harden, Georgina Chapman, Cynthia Rowley and Helena Christensen were also in the Bahamas to celebrate the resort’s 25th anniversary.
Away from the beach, Danza also did an impromptu performance for guests. “On Saturday night, the festivities began with a private dinner at Nobu followed by a special performance, Peter Cincotti at Bar Sol,” a source told Page Six this week. “Danza surprised the crowd and joined Cincotti on stage for a couple of songs.”
The source added, “Couric got in on the action and handed Danza a ukulele — which then brought the crowd to their feet for a standing ovation.”
Later, Grammy winner CeeLo Green took the stage to sing his hits like “Crazy.”
The event saw Danza in a much better mood than when he got into a kerfuffle on the lean, mean, dog-eat-dog streets of the Upper West Side in NYC earlier this month.
Page Six reported that a dog-owning woman yelled at him, “Tony Danza, stop being an a–hole!” after he’d allegedly stepped over her oncoming pooch on the sidewalk, and exclaimed, “Get your dog out of my way!”
Another source told us, however, that, Danza — who is obviously in supremely good shape — had to vault over the woman’s Black Lab.
“There was no spat,” the other source told us. “He moved over to let the dog pass, and the woman didn’t pull back on the leash and the dog continued to come towards him. He had to jump over the dog to get out of the way.”
