Tracy Morgan admits to using Ozempic for weight loss

Tracy Morgan is taking Ozempic — and he “ain’t letting it go.”

The stand-up comedian, 54, took Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager by surprise on the “Today” show Monday when he said his “weight got lost” from a semaglutide prescription.

“It cuts my appetite in half,” he said of the Type II diabetes drug, which has taken Hollywood by storm. “Now I only eat half a bag of Doritos.”

When Kotb, 59, and Bush Hager, 41, expressed doubt in Morgan’s confession, he mimicked a stomach injection and reiterated, “I take Ozempic every Thursday.”

The “30 Rock” star, who showed off his weight loss in a knit shirt and ripped jeans during the interview, also discussed his gym routine.

“I get up at 7 every morning, and I’m in the gym at 10,” he said. “Then I go back to sleep. And that’s my life.”

Morgan’s weight-loss confession comes nearly a decade after a tractor trailer crashed into his luxury minibus and put him in a coma for two weeks.

The June 2014 accident on the New Jersey Turnpike, which killed the Emmy nominee’s collaborator James McNair, resulted in Morgan recuperating from his broken bones and brain damage at the Hackensack Meridian JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Center for nearly a month.

He went on to spend more than six months in a wheelchair.

In addition to his physical recovery, Morgan healed mentally by repeatedly watching footage of the crash on YouTube.

“I would watch where I got hit, where my friend died,” he said at New York Magazine’s Vulture Festival in 2018.

Morgan’s recent Ozempic revelation makes him one of many A-listers admitting to the medication to lose weight, with other partakers including fellow comedians Amy Schumer and Chelsea Handler.

While Handler did not realize she was on Ozempic and stopped once she realized, Schumer only pulled the plug after feeling “so sick” and finding herself unable to play with her son.

The “I Feel Pretty” star told “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” viewers in June that she wants other stars to “stop” lying about their use, saying, “Be real with the people. When I got lipo, I said I got lipo.”
