Travis Kelce is feeling better than ever both on and off the football field.
During a post-practice press conference Friday, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was asked how he feels about all the extra attention on the team amid his budding romance with Taylor Swift.
While Kelce, 34, made it clear that his focus is on beating the Minnesota Vikings Sunday, the NFL star noted that the newfound interest in his love life hasn’t phased him.
“As all the attention comes…it feels like I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl and right now I’m even more on top of the world,” he said with a slight smile.
Although Kelce is feeling confident about his team’s ability, the Ohio native admitted that he is still “learning” how to handle “paparazzi just taking photos from all over the place.”
“It comes with it,” he said. “You’ve got a lot of people that care about Taylor, and for good reason.”
“You just gotta keep living and learning and enjoying the moments,” the NFL star continued.
However, Kelce — who previously called out the NFL for “overdoing it” with their coverage of his new romance — assured fans that his main priority is still the ongoing football season.
“At the end of the day I’ve always been pretty good about compartmentalizing and being able to stay focused in this building,” he told reporters.
Insiders sang the same tune earlier this week, telling People that Kelce is “focusing on football like he always has” despite the media frenzy surrounding his relationship.
“During the NFL season, his priority is the Chiefs,” a source told the magazine. “It’s all about the team.”
“He is a charming guy,” they added. “It’s more of a hanging out situation than dating.”
While things may be casual between the two, other sources told Us Weekly that the lovebirds “talk every day.”
“Taylor’s really enjoying getting to know Travis,” a source told the outlet Tuesday. “They’re taking it day by day, but she has high hopes.”
The Grammy winner, 33, apparently thinks Kelce is a “normal, nice guy” who’s “down-to-earth” and not “affected by fame.”
Kelce also scored a couple extra points for being “so hot.”
“Taylor has decided she’s not going to hide anymore. She’s going to be her authentic self and enjoy life,” the source added, alluding to Swift’s last ultra-private relationship with Joe Alwyn.
According to another insider, the feelings are mutual and Kelce “is completely smitten” with the blond beauty.

Although Swift has cheered on Kelce at his last two football games, the “Anti-Hero” singer was noticeably absent from his birthday festivities Thursday.
Despite the fact that Swift was spotted jetting out of NYC the day prior, Kelce was photographed hanging out with a group of friends during the day.
In photos exclusively obtained by Page Six, the group of men can be seen meeting up outside the Chiefs training facility before hopping into Kelce’s black SUV, where they sat and chatted for about an hour.
While it appears Kelce didn’t have any big birthday plans, he seemingly topped the night off by smoking a cigar — which he was seen purchasing from a local gas station that morning.
Prior to his romance with Swift, Kelce dated model Kayla Nicole on and off for nearly five years.
While it’s unclear exactly what led to their split, the influencer has posted several cryptic messages to social media in wake of her ex’s new fling.
