Travis Kelce joked he needed a ‘breeder’ months before Taylor Swift romance

Travis Kelce’s past comments about “breeding” are coming back to haunt him amid his new romance with Taylor Swift.

Some Swifties may have bad blood with the NFL star following his remarks in the Feb. 6 episode of his “New Heights” podcast.

“I gotta start breeding. I gotta start breeding,” Travis joked with his brother, Jason Kelce, and mom, Donna Kelce, during the episode.

The conversation began after Jason — who shares three daughters with wife Kylie — quipped that their mother would save him over Travis in a sinking ship because he’s given her grandchildren.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, then jokingly called on “all the breeders out there” to “slide” his way.

“Please don’t,” Jason replied, while Donna advised, “Wait until you find the right person. Find the right person.”

“I’m gonna find a breeder and I’m gonna get kids so that mom can love me again,” Travis added.

Reps for football player, 34, and Swift, 33, did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The resurfaced podcast episode has ruffled a few feathers within the pop star’s fanbase amid her new romance with the two-time Super Bowl champion.

The comment came after Jason Kelce noted that their mother should give him preferential treatment since he’s given her grandchildren.

One Twitter user even labeled Travis a “misogynist” for his comments.

“Yikes not a fan of that travis kelce comment about “breeding/breeders” :/ super misogynistic. doesn’t matter if it’s a joke,” a second person wrote.

Another fan tweeted that they are “grateful” that the “Blank Space” singer’s ex Joe Alwyn “kept to himself” during their notoriously private six-year relationship.

“You are free to say what you want but are not free from the consequences of doing so. Women are not objects,” they added.

The “Anti-Hero” songstress’ brief fling with Matty Healy came to an end over the summer — not long after fans scolded The 1975 frontman for participating in a podcast episode that some deemed “racist.”

Another fan said it “doesn’t matter” that Travis was joking on the podcast.

During a February episode of “The Adam Friedland Show” (which has since been removed by Spotify), Friedland and co-host Nick Mullen called Ice Spice an “Inuit Spice Girl” and a “chubby Chinese lady.”

They also mocked Chinese and Hawaiian accents while Healy, a guest on the episode, opted to laugh along. He also asked the hosts to do an “impression” of a Japanese Nazi.

Soon after, Swift released a collaboration with the “In Ha Mood” rapper before she and Healy called off their relationship.

“They are both extremely busy and realized they’re not really compatible with each other,” an insider told “Entertainment Tonight” at the time.

Meanwhile, the pop star is reportedly already “falling in love” with Travis after going public with their romance in September.

She was seen touching down in Kansas City, Mo., again Monday following his big loss to the Denver Broncos Sunday.
