Travis Scott keeps GQ Sports Super Bowl party going despite venue trying to shut it down

Travis Scott was feining for a good time.

The “Astroworld” rapper rocked up to the GQ Sports Super Bowl party Friday night alongside a slew of several other A-list athletes and entertainers like Odell Beckham Jr. and Stefon Diggs, who co-hosted the event alongside GQ’s global editorial director Will Welch and chef Mario Carbone.

Guests enjoyed signature cocktails made with 1800 Tequila and Carbone provided his signature spicy rigatoni pasta to balance out the booze.

Zack Bia was turning the tables all night at the the VIP party — held at the swanky Nomad Library — before eyewitnesses say Scott took charge.

The Grammy winning rapper, who made everyone put their phones away, played several of his hits as partygoers mobbed to the dance floor — only for the lights to turn back to full brightness as the clock struck 2 a.m.

However, Scott, 32, made it clear that he was not ready to go home yet, urging Welch to dim the lights and keep the party going.

“We just found the party of the night,” the “Goosebumps” rapper said into the microphone. “We’re not going home yet.”

After about five minutes of pleas, Scott’s request was finally answered as the lights dimmed and the party raged on.

Although the bar stopped serving alcohol, the VIP guest list picked up right where they left off on the dance floor.

However, hotel security shut things down about 30 minutes later and corralled all the guests out of the secluded restaurant and into the Park MGM entrance.

Page Six caught up with Bia the following day on the Fanatics red carpet, where he told us that — despite Scott’s best efforts to keep the party going — they both went home afterwards.

“I went home and slept,” he told us, noting that he had to prepare for his DJ set at the exclusive Michael Rubin event. “I’m sure he went home as well… he’s a reasonable guy.”

The producer explained that most of the star-studded crowd didn’t want to go anywhere else after being at such an intimate event.

“An environment like that is really friends and family oriented,” he said. “It’s less of a big party so I think when you get everyone together in one room it leads to things like that being able to happen because everyone is just having a good time.”

Like Bia, Scott also took the stage at Michael Rubins’ exclusive event — a potential reason why he didn’t seek out another party after leaving the library.
