‘Twin Peaks’ creator David Lynch’s wife, Emily Stofle, files for divorce after 14 years of marriage

Legendary filmmaker David Lynch and his longtime wife, Emily Stofle, are reportedly divorcing.

According to TMZ, Stofle, 45, is the one who requested the dissolution of the pair’s 14-year marriage and made several demands in her petition.

The outlet noted that the split does not seem all that amicable.

The actress asked the court to grant her sole legal and physical custody of the 11-year-old daughter she shares with the “Twin Peaks,” “Mulholland Drive” and “Blue Velvet” director, per TMZ.

However, Stofle is reportedly OK with Lynch, 77, having visitation rights.

Additionally, the outlet reported that Stofle wants Lynch to pay her spousal support and cover the cost of her attorneys’ fees.
