The actress, 34, threw a funeral-themed bachelorette party to mourn her days of dating as she gets ready to marry baseball player Cole Tucker.
“Love a theme night. Can you guess what it was?” Hudgens captioned one of her many Instagram posts documenting the creative bash, with bridesmaid Sarah Hyland writing alongside her own upload from the evening, “Dress code: All Black for the Bride in White 🖤.”
Another bridesmaid added, “Lots to gain while mourning the loss of my BF’s single life 💀.”
For the spooky soirée, the bride-to-be donned a white silk-and-lace wedding-esque gown with a V-shaped neckline and ruffled bodice.
She accessorized her look with white mesh gloves, a star-studded silver headpiece and a short veil embossed with the phrase, “VH♥️CT.”
Meanwhile, her gaggle of six gals sported all-black ensembles — many complete with traditional funeral veils.
The “iconic” black-and-white night was part of Hudgens’ recent bachelorette trip to Aspen, Colo., after which she was forced to shut down pregnancy speculation.
“Why does she look pregnant to me or like she’s trying to hide a bump 🤔🤔,” one social media user wondered, while another inquired, “OMG is she pregnant??”
“Not pregnant so y’all can stop,” the “High School Musical” alum fired back at curious commenters beneath an IG Reel of the getaway.
Though the weekend looked like a blast, the wedding-planning process itself has not been an enjoyable one for Hudgens.
She called the eye-opening experience “wild,” “crazy” and “nuts” in an interview with People last month, explaining that she and her best friend — who is also getting married — are “going through it.”
“I was just like, ‘My God, dresses are so expensive,’” the multimillionaire groused.

“It’s a big, daunting thing — so much goes into it,” she told the outlet in a prior chat. “Like Gwen Stefani said, ‘This s–t is bananas.’”
In fact, earlier this year, Hudgens admitted that she and Tucker, 27, “kind of” wanted to “elope.”
“It’s hard,” she explained during a May episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show.” “Finding a venue is tough. I’m lost. I don’t know.”
After meeting in 2020 via a Zoom call amid the coronavirus pandemic, Hudgens and Tucker made their relationship Instagram-official the following February.
Though the couple reportedly got engaged in late 2022, the singer didn’t reveal that she had said “YES” to the athlete’s proposal — which came with a humungous diamond ring — until February.
