The beloved pop superstar has been spotted around Los Angeles with a man named Paul Richard Soliz amid her divorce from Sam Asghari, igniting her fandom to want to learn more about her romantic fling.

Where is he from and how old is he?
Soliz is based in California, where Spears also resides full time. His birthday is May 13, 1986, and he is 37 years old.
What does he do for a living?
Soliz was hired in 2022 to work in a housekeeper-like role, performing menial tasks around the mega-mansion. A source previously told Page Six exclusively that his job was to “clean toilets, mop floors and pick up trash.” He was fired sometime in 2023 after his criminal past was exposed.
However, Soliz claimed to paparazzi on Sept. 11, 2023, that he now “owns [his] own business,” doing license contractor technique tile.

Does he have a criminal record?
Soliz has been charged with multiple misdemeanors and at least one felony. Court records obtained by Page Six showed that he was convicted of one count of disturbing the peace in 2014 and charged with child endangerment that same year, but it was dismissed due to a plea negotiation.
In 2016, he was also convicted of driving without a license and a separate charge of driving with a suspended license was dismissed due to a plea negotiation.
Most recently, he was convicted of felony possession of a firearm in December 2022 due to a charge stemming from a 2019 incident. He was in court on Sept. 11, 2023, for an alleged probation violation in relation to that charge.
Is he dating Spears?
Page Six can confirm that Soliz has been romantically involved with Spears at some point. However, sources have made conflicting claims about whether the two are still seeing each other amid Spears’ divorce from Asghari.
One insider claimed on Sept. 14, 2023, that Spears and Soliz are still an item, while another claimed they are “not dating” and stopped hanging out when she got back from Mexico.
A separate source also told the Daily Mail that the Grammy winner and her former staffer had a “short fling” but have already broken it off and are “no longer” in communication.
What does Soliz think about Spears?
While Soliz has not yet confirmed himself whether he and Spears are a couple, the contractor raved about the Princess of Pop in an interview with paparazzi.
He called her a “phenomenal women” and added, “She’s a very, very good, positive … she’s a good person.”
However, Soliz would not confirm whether Spears was his girlfriend or romantic interest.

Soliz also told paps on Sept. 11, 2023, that he is not married because the mother of his children “passed away.”
He also acknowledged at the time that he has a “handful” of kids, including one that is in a 5150 hold, which is an involuntary mental health hospitalization.
