Jay Cutler has moved on from his ex-wife, Kristin Cavallari, with a new girlfriend, Samantha Robertson.
The duo made their romance Instagram-official in September 2023.
The news came three years after the retired NFL player’s divorce made headlines.
Cutler player previously told his “Uncut” podcast listeners that dating was “hard as hell” because the “landscape has changed” since he was last single.
“There are apps, there’s Twitter, there’s Instagram, it’s a whole different ball game,” he said in August 2021, clarifying at the time that he was not in a “rush” start seeing something new.

She has been married before
Robertson was previously married to fashion designer Juan “Trace” Ayala III, who has made headlines over the years for his friendship with Justin Timberlake.
While it is unclear when the former couple called it quits, Ayala last posted about his partner for Valentine’s Day in February 2022, gushing that “the road goes on forever and the party never ends.”
As for Robertson, she last honored Ayala in a November 2019 Instagram post and referred to him as the “world’s best” husband.
She is a mom
Before their breakup, Robertson and Ayala welcomed daughters Sophia and River.
The proud parents often praise the little ones on social media, with Robertson calling her eldest her “gypsy soulmate” in a September 2019 upload.
Three years prior, she gushed over River giving her and Ayala the “happiness of a lifetime” by joining their family.
She loves to travel
Not only does Robertson often post about her family on her @samanthajrobertson Instagram account, but she also documents frequent travels for her followers.
From fishing in the Bahamas to enjoying “spring break in the city,” she is regularly on the move with her friends and little ones.

Robertson is originally from Australia, writing in November 2022 that “home is where the heart is … family is priceless and health is wealth.”
She has worked in design
Although Robertson reportedly has some acting credits under her belt, the only work she has promoted via Instagram is helping “American Pickers” star Mike Wolfe design his Two Lanes Guesthouse.
“What I appreciated about Sam is her free-spirited approach to design,” the History Channel personality told Antique Archaeology in 2019. “Sam’s style is well-traveled, bigger than life, yet comfortable and approachable.”
Wolfe noted that he and his collaborator both lived “in a little village called Leiper’s Fork, Tenn.”
She met Cutler through friends
In September 2023, the Messenger broke the news that Robertson had been in a relationship with Cutler “for a while.”
“They met through mutual friends in Nashville,” an insider told the outlet.
The source went on to claim that Robertson’s daughters had already met Cutler and Cavallari’s three kids — Camden, Jaxon and Saylor.
