This jab of gel could help prolong men’s love-making

Jabs made with a gel found in eye drops have been used to treat premature ejaculation.

Volunteers given injections of the jelly-like substance, hyaluronic acid, had an eight-fold increase in ejaculation time.

Hyaluronic acid is used in eye drops to stimulate tears. 

Now in a trial at Zagazig University, Egypt, with 30 men aged 30 to 50, it’s been used to increase time to orgasm, from an average of 37 seconds to more than five minutes. 

The men had five separate gel jabs into the penis.

The Arab Journal of Urology reports that the jabs were still effective a year later. 

The gel is thought to work by reducing sensation.

In a study with 30,000 people, antibiotics that target the bug that causes stomach ulcers cut bleeding by two-thirds. The treatment also protected against bleeds for up to two-and-a-half years, reported The Lancet.
