The 2024 Major League Soccer season schedule has finally been released, with Inter Miami and Lionel Messi kicking things off on February 21 against Real Salt Lake at DRV PNK Stadium.
MLS’ 29th season is set to be one for the books, as Messi will take on the league in his first full season in the last season with 29 clubs before San Diego FC join as an expansion side in 2025.
Columbus Crew will look to successfully defend their 2023 MLS Cup title after dethroning the previous champions LAFC to win their third such trophy. We’ll be treated to an MLS Cup rematch on July 13 at BMO Stadium, with the Black and Gold out for revenge against one of MLS’ original sides.
The 2024 MLS All-Star game is set for July 24 at Columbus’ Lower.com Field, while Leagues Cup actions begins on July 26.
The regular season for the 2024 Major League Soccer campaign beings on February 21 and will end on October 19. The play-offs will then follow the regular season.
