Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been given the chance to sign Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson for as little as £18m, according to a report.
Newcastle are looking to raise funds before the end of the January transfer window and were in talks over selling right-back Kieran Trippier to Bayern Munich, only for negotiations to collapse when an agreement could not be found.
Miguel Almiron is a candidate to leave for Saudi Arabia, but the Evening Standard state that Wilson is also seen as a “sellable asset” by those in charge at St James’ Park.
Wilson, who will turn 32 next month, is in the final 18 months of his contract and could be available for as little as £18m – a figure which has been presented to Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United as the Premier League trio seek solutions to their goalscoring woes before the January transfer window closes.
Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag has confirmed that the Red Devils do not have the Financial Fair Play flexibility to bring in a new striker this month, while Arsenal chief Mikel Arteta has also admitted a new striker arriving at the Emirates is unlikely.

Those stances could change following the news of Wilson’s availability. Across his time with Bournemouth and Newcastle, he has racked up 215 appearances in the Premier League, netting a respectable 86 goals for good measure.
Wilson has spoken with Atletico Madrid this month but is seeking a club who can offer him regular first-team football as he seeks to secure a spot in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for this summer’s European Championships.
All three of Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd are eyeing a new striker in 2024 but the trio could all wait until the summer to make a bigger splash, with the likes of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Brentford’s Ivan Toney expected to be attainable for sizeable fees.
However, a short-term fix like Wilson may appeal, although players may need to be sold before any of Arsenal, Chelsea or Man Utd can make space for a new signing.
