Atlanta United predicted lineup vs FC Cincinnati – MLS

Atlanta United hit the road for their final regular season game of the 2023 MLS season, and the Five Stripes will look to jump to fifth place ahead of the postseason with a win over FC Cincinnati.

Both teams have secured their places in the playoffs, and both sides will be looking to end the regular season on a positive note before the anticipated playoffs kick-off. Atlanta head coach Gonzalo Pineda will have nearly all his players available for selection after the conclusion of the October international break.

Here’s who Pineda may choose in his starting XI for the clash at TQL Stadium…

GK: Brad Guzan – In what could be his final regular season game for Atlanta, the former USMNT figure starts in goal.

RB: Brooks Lennon – One of Atlanta’s more consistent players in 2023 earns another start at full-back.

CB: Miles Robinson – He saved the day last time against Columbus Crew, and he’ll have his hands full against the likes of Lucho Acosta and Brandon Vazquez.

CB: Luis Abram – Abram is set to take the field for another 90 minutes alongside Robinson, as he’s locked down the left sided center-back position over Juanjo Purata.

LB: Caleb Wiley – The versatile player continues to defy expectations with every game he plays.

DM: Tristan Muyumba – The Frenchman has become a vital cog in Pineda’s midfield with his exceptional dribbling and passing abilities.

DM: Matheus Rossetto – Although he’s not one of the flashiest players in the squad, he tends to play better when paired with Muyumba.

RW: Saba Lobjanidze – After a few subpar performances for the Five Stripes, he’ll look to be back amongst the goals against Cincinnati.

AM: Thiago Almada – A fantastic 2023 campaign comes to a close for Almada, and he looks ahead to the postseason to make some noise with Atlanta.

LW: Xande Silva – He poses a threat to the Cincinnati defense as he isn’t afraid to dribble at any player who stands in his way.

ST: Giorgos Giakoumakis – The former Celtic striker hopes to end his impressive first season in MLS with another goal or two added to his tally.
