Luton vs Arsenal – Premier League: TV channel, team news, lineups and prediction

Premier League leaders Arsenal will travel to minnows Luton Town on Tuesday as the two sides prepare to do battle for the first time since 1991.

The Gunners saw off Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 on Saturday to preserve their place atop the standings, while Luton are hovering perilously above the relegation zone heading into a week which will also see Manchester City head to Kenilworth Road.

Here’s all you need to know about this one.

Captain Tom Lockyer’s injury last time out proved to be Luton’s downfall against Brentford and the Hatters will have to do without their leader once again here. Teden Mengi also picked up a knee injury in the same game.

Luton remain without the injured cohort of Marvelous Nakamba, Mads Andersen, Reece Burke, Cauley Woodrow, Dan Potts and Arsenal loanee Albert Sambi Lokonga, who can’t face his parent side anyway.

Luton predicted lineup vs Arsenal (3-4-2-1): Kaminski; Osho, Bell, Giles; Kabore, Mpanzu, Barkley, Chong; Townsend, Brown; Ogbene.

Arsenal lost a player of their own at the weekend as defender Takehiro Tomiyasu limped off injured, and the short turnaround before this game should see him kept on the sidelines in favour of Ben White.

Jurrien Timber, Fabio Vieira, Thomas Partey and Emile Smith Rowe all remain sidelined.

Arsenal predicted lineup vs Wolves (4-3-3): Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Rice, Odegaard, Havertz; Saka, Jesus, Trossard.

Luton are typically a stubborn outfit at home but losing both Lockyer and Mengi to injuries will make an uphill battle positively vertical for the hosts.

Arsenal will be tired after a busy week but they are blessed with both depth and overall quality which should make this a pretty routine affair for Mikel Arteta’s side.

They might not hit Luton for six like they did Lens, but expect an emphatic victory for Arsenal.

Prediction: Luton 0-4 Arsenal
