Manchester United squad ratings on EA Sports FC 24

For the first time in three decades, we won’t be getting a FIFA game this year. Instead, gamers will have to settle for EA Sports FC, which, despite having a lot of similarities with FIFA, is expected to be a different experience for fans of the franchise.

EA (Electronic Arts) decided not to renew its partnership with FIFA due to the high financial demands the organisation placed on its licensing fee. As a result, EA decided to part ways with FIFA and are now releasing their first solo game which is set to come out on 29 September.

Football fans now wait eagerly to discover what ratings their favourite stars will earn, conjuring up hundreds of Ultimate Team drafts in their head.

Here’s what we know about Man Utd’s EA Sports FC 24 ratings right now.

Casemiro

United’s current highest-rated player in FIFA 23 is Casemiro with an 89 card, a total which is unlikely to decrease following his impressive debut season in the Premier League.

The runner-up spot, however, will be a new name. Last year it was David de Gea who was rated at 87, but his departure means it will likely be one of Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford or Raphael Varane who sits behind Casemiro.

Fernandes currently sits at 86, with Varane at 84 and Marcus Rashford at 81.

One player expected to make a significant upgrade in the new game is Rashford, whose 81-rated card should rise to somewhere between 84-86 following his impressive goal-laden campaign.

Bruno Fernandes could be in for a small upgrade while the likes of Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw should receive boosts too. New signings Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund are also in line for upgrades. Onana should rise by two or three ratings, while Hojlund could get a mammoth boost to his 67-rated card in FIFA 23.

In terms of young players, Hannibal, Amad Diallo and Facundo Pellistri could all get upgrades, while the impressive Alejandro Garnacho should get his first card which will probably be a silver that sits somewhere between 70-74.

Jadon Sancho is due another decrease in rating and will probably fall near the 81 mark, while Harry Maguire and Anthony Martial could also lose a couple of ratings following disappointing campaigns.

New signing Mason Mount could also be in danger of losing a rating or two after a quiet season with Chelsea.
