When Al Nassr and Cristiano Ronaldo’s next game is after victory over Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq

A feisty affair between Al Nassr and Al Ettifaq in the King’s Cup ended in victory for Cristiano Ronaldo’s side on Tuesday evening.

Sadio Mane’s extra-time winner offered Al Nassr a 1-0 win, with both sides finishing the match with ten men in Riyadh. The Senegalese star’s strike saw off Steven Gerrard’s side and got one over on former Liverpool teammates Georginio Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson.

Ronaldo, despite playing the entire 120 minutes, was unable to get his name on the scoresheet, but will be hoping to get back on track in Al Nassr’s next outing.

So, when is the Portuguese superstar next in action in Saudi Arabia?

Currently sat second in the Saudi Pro League, four points off table-toppers Al Hilal, Ronaldo and Al Nassr return to league action this Saturday at Al Awwal Park.

Al Nassr play host Al Khaleej at 18:00 (BST) on 4 November in what should be a comfortable win against the 13th-placed outfit. Al Khaleej narrowly avoided relegation from the Pro League last season, with Ronaldo eyeing up another haul this weekend.

Al Nassr only managed a draw with Al Khaleej in this exact fixture last season, but did pick up a 1-0 win on their visit to Saihat.

It will then be a return to AFC Champions League action for Al Nassr after Saturday’s match, taking on Qatari side Al Duhail next Tuesday.

Ronaldo has been in characteristically wonderful form this season for club and country, scoring 14 and assisting eight for Al Nassr in all competitions.

11 of those goals have come in just ten Saudi Pro League matches, although the 38-year-old has only managed one in his last three.

The Portuguese has been in similarly devastating form in the Champions League too, netting three in as many matches. Ronaldo has already netted two against Al Nassr’s next opponents in the competition, Al Duhail of Qatar, having also scored one against Tajikistan’s Istiqlol.
