Former “GMA3” co-hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have finally gone red carpet official with their relationship. They recently opened up about the beautiful moment and said they were “proud” to show off their romance to the press.
The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball event they attended was held on the anniversary of the start of their affair scandal. Robach and Holmes also spoke about their infamous exit from ABC after the affair was made public.
Amid the couple going public with their romance, their ex-partners, Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig, have also started dating and say they bonded over the traumatic cheating scandal.
Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes Discuss Being ‘Handsy’ On Red Carpet
Robach and Holmes recently opened up about their red carpet experience as a couple in the new episode of their iHeartRadio podcast, “Amy & T.J. Podcast.”
The former anchorwoman said of the event, “We flew out to L.A. proudly, didn’t have to duck paparazzi, walked right off that plane holding hands; it was amazing. It’s funny how the smallest things feel so great, and that was one of them.” Holmes agreed with her and said, “We’re proudly stepping off the plane. Take our picture!”
He revealed they were eager for the press to take their pictures but noted that it was “no small thing for us.” Robach emphasized this point and said, “It was the first time we ever stepped out officially as a couple in front of cameras that we actually knew were going to be there and didn’t mind and smile, and we had fun.”
Robach added that she and Holmes were just being themselves. Then she got romantic and said, “Apparently, that means being handsy and a lot of PDA, but you know what? We’re in love. We’re happy. I don’t know how else to act.”
The iHeartRadio Event Was Held Exactly A Year After Their Scandal
Holmes and Robach’s viral appearance at the Jingle Ball was a year after their affair became public news in late 2022. The former “GMA3” co-anchors looked happy together and even wore coordinating outfits for the night out.
Robach was dressed in a black leather mini dress and black heeled boots, while Holmes wore a black blazer, white shirt, and pants. They held hands throughout the red carpet and smiled brightly during pictures, seeming very happy together.
Robach emphasized this during the podcast, saying they wanted to show off their love. The TV personality stated that it “felt good to be free of hiding and running and avoiding” when it comes to their romance.

In the debut episode of their podcast, Holmes and Robach discussed their relationship for the first time since the scandal. They also spoke about their exit from the ABC Network, during which Holmes described them as “the folks who lost the jobs we love because we love each other.”
He stated that he’s very much “in love” with Robach and that she feels the same, so they’re now “planning a life together.” Robach also said she’s “never been happier” than she is with Holmes, despite the “year of hell” the scandal caused them. She claimed their romance is “the most beautiful relationship I’ve ever had in my life.”
Holmes and Robach’s podcast was launched on the anniversary of their indefinite hiatus from ABC News. During the debut episode, Robach addressed this and said, “It’s almost apropos that we would have this podcast air on December 5th because December 5th last year, exactly one year ago today, was the day we were told not to come into work.”

In a twist no one could have seen coming, Holmes and Robach’s former spouses have started a relationship together.
According to Page Six, Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig have been dating privately for about six months. They reportedly built a connection over the traumatic experience of the cheating scandal between Holmes and Robach.
A source said, “It turned into something else, and they’re connected over their values. It’s bigger than the affair now.” Shue and Fiebig have reportedly “moved on” from the traumatic experience and the hurt it caused them. Another source said, “They’re not heartbroken and sad. Everyone has moved on.”
