On Wednesday night, Sherri Shepherd appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” with host Andy Cohen. During the game “Do You Give A D—?” Andy asks fans if they were interested in reading Britney’s memoir, “The Woman In Me,” which is scheduled for release on Tuesday, October 24.

Actress Issa Rae responded that she is interested in reading the book, adding that Britney “has been dropping a lot of tea” in reference to some of the bombshell revelations that have already made headlines. She referenced how Britney claimed that her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, cheated on her with another celebrity, prompting Sherri to ask, “Another Mouseketeer?”

When Andy asked Sherri how she felt about Britney’s memoir, Sherri replied, “Not really, ’cause how many chapters are you gonna have — crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy and crazy.”

Issa exclaimed “Sherry!” but Sherri doubled down, simply stating, “I said it.” Even though the conversation moved on, fans were quick to call her out online for calling the pop star “crazy.”

Social Media Calls Out Sherri Shepherd: She’s ‘Just Trying To Get Attention’

Many users had a lot of strong reactions to Sherri’s comments. “Sherri Shepherd is just trying to get attention by bashing Britney Spears. She has no idea what Britney has been going through with her conservatorship and mental health issues. Britney is a strong and brave woman who has overcome many challenges and inspired millions of fans. Sherri is nothing but a hater,” one user tweeted.

Another netizen called her “part of the problem that has turned Britney into a victim!”

Another user called Sherri Shepherd a “sell-out,” commenting,  “The way she’s become a sellout…it’s sad to see because she was honestly a talented comedian but now it’s like she’s trying to be Wendy 2.0; like why would call someone that went through so much scrutiny from the media and destroyed her mentality ‘crazy’?!”

One user wrote, “Her show is the kind of show you’re forced to watch in the waiting room at the Dentist office. I’d rather be crazy and fun than boring as h— lol.”

“Absolutely right. Yet, she thinks she’s the #1 on national tv, while she isn’t even top 10 in her hometown, it’s funny how some comedians only make jokes about other people, it’s truly that ‘comedy’?” another user asked.

“We don’t care what dollar store Wendy Williams says,” another user wrote along with a headline of Sherri Shepherd allegedly saying, “The earth is flat and gays are going to h—.”

“I guess #BritneySpears won’t be a guest on @sherrieshepherd’s daytime talk show anytime soon,” another netizen responded.

Britney is not doing any interviews to promote her memoir, but that hasn’t stopped her from talking about it on social media. On Wednesday night, the “Toxic” singer took to Instagram to how difficult it was to write her tell-all memoir and put all of her secrets on display for her fans.

“Been so busy lately and there are so many hard things to read in the news about my book !!! Writing the book was so hard 😞 !!!” she wrote in the caption. “Then I woke up this morning and said it’s all relative nothing really matters at this point 🤷🏼‍♀️ !!! As long as Snow has her Noonie the world is a better place  🌷🌷🌷!!! Psss swipe to see the killer dog 🐶 !!! #TheWomanInMe.”

“The Woman In Me” is scheduled for release on Tuesday, October 24.
