Burrito Gallery closes Downtown Jacksonville location after almost 2 decades

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A local restaurant that’s been a favorite to many Jacksonville residents for almost two decades has closed its doors for good.

Customers arriving at the Burrito Gallery in Downtown Jacksonville were met with a locked front door and covered windows Wednesday.

A sign taped to the door thanked the restaurant’s customers for “18 years of great memories”.


The restaurant did not give a reason for the closure. 

There are still two other Burrito Gallery locations open. One in Brooklyn and the other at the St. Johns Town Center.
