There was a lot of action in the most recent episode of Dead Mount Death Play, but the episode began with a recap of the prior 12 episodes. Since Polka is the main character, he receives most of the attention, but he also receives some suspicion. Who exactly is he, anyway?
Many individuals made assumptions about that due of his many dubious actions. In this episode, we learned more about a new figure who is investigating Polka and gets less attention from the other characters. Koucho, a reporter interested in learning more about him, is the individual in question.
A lot happened in the last season of the anime that Polka had to think about, such as when the Fire Breathing Bug mentioned the Bastard Sons of Sabarmond. He is someone from Polka’s past, and he undoubtedly wasn’t anticipating seeing his name in this context.
First, some background on Sabarmond. It seems he was a powerful court sorcerer and the master of Polka’s master. Of course, it wasn’t due to any sort of supernatural might, but rather political influence. Sabarmond was a mellow guy, so Polka’s outrage over the appropriation of his name in this brave new world was understandable.
Polka had been explaining everything to Takumi. Given the circumstances, it’s clear that Takumi was seeking clarification. But before things get any worse, in walks Koucho, the reporter. She claims she is curious about Polka’s fortune-telling career and would like to have an interview with him.
