It has only been days since Travis Barker resumed his European tour after abandoning it to be with his pregnant wife, Kourtney Kardashian — as she underwent an emergency fetal surgery — but she seemingly cannot live without him!
Kourtney Kardashian Is Craving Her Husband’s Company
The expectant mom, who shares three children, Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8, with her ex-partner Scott Disick, was in her feelings as she yearned for her husband’s presence. Taking to her Instagram Story, she shared a video of the ”Blink-182” drummer displaying his skills as during his band’s performance.
In the captivating clip, the ”Blink-182” star, who went shirtless and donned only a pair of trousers and a beanie, happily performed away as red concert lights spotlighted on him.
Adding a short text over the video, Kardashian sweetly penned, ”i miss my husband,” alongside a face holding back tears emoji. She also tagged his Instagram handle, ”@travisbarker.”
Fans may recall that Barker and his band ”Blink-182” recently recommenced their European tour that was previously put on hold due to Kardashian and Barker’s urgent family matter that has now been sorted out.
The band resumed its tour overseas on Friday, September 8, in Antwerp, Belgium, after the rock band initially postponed three shows.
Signifying his return, Barker shared multiple photos of Belgium on his Instagram Stories. He further shared a video of a fan holding a sign that read, ”Can I have a drumstick?”
In the clip, the drummer then walked out with a pair of drumsticks in his hand and gave them to the emotional fan before the two shared a quick hug. Captioning the video, he penned, ”1st day of tour.”
Although the rocker and his wife, Kardashian, did not give specific details about what the emergency issue at the time. The expectant mom, however, revealed in a Sept. 6 Instagram post that she had to have ”urgent fetal surgery” to save the life of their unborn baby boy.
She shared a black-and-white picture of herself from the medical facility. In the image, the ”Poosh” founder was seen lying on the hospital bed while holding hands with her husband. In the accompanying caption, Kardashian extended her gratitude to her loved ones for their support alongside the doctors who saved their unborn child.
She penned, ”I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I’m eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock.”
She went on to share that because her previous pregnancies were ”really easy,” she was not prepared for the terror that engulfed her this time. Kardashian further conveyed her respect for mothers who have battled for their babies. She concluded by adding, ”Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing.”
On the other hand, the ”Blink-182” drummer shared his own message of gratitude on Twitter. He tweeted, ”God is great. I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I’m grateful went well. I want to say thank you for all the support. Tour resumes Friday.”
Kardashian Relied On Biblical Scriptures After Terrifying Fetal Surgery
Following the scary incident the Reality TV star experienced with her pregnancy, she seemingly turned to God for encouragement. The California native shared several scriptures on her Instagram Story. The scriptures featured words from John 15:5, Ephesians 6:10, and Genesis 1:26 – 27.
Part of the snippet she posted addressed humans as God’s image-bearers, who should frequently rely on him. The scared writing read: ”However, I love you too much to withdraw the godlike privilege I bestowed on you as My image-bearer. Use your freedom wisely by relying on Me constantly. Thus, you enjoy My Presence and My Peace.”
Another bible verse seemed to imply that the ”Poosh” founder could not have overcome her medical ordeal without divine intervention. A part of John 15:5, which she posted, read, ”If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing.”
In addition, the divine words from Ephesians 6:10 read: ”Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his might powers.” It seemed that these powerful reminders about God were Kardashian’s appreciation for the successful fetal surgery that saved her unborn son’s life.
