League of Legends Boy Band: Revealing the Next Hit Musical Sensation

League of Legends and music have always been inextricably linked, providing gamers with an unparalleled audiovisual encounter. Riot Games, the creators of the renowned game, is aware of how much music improves the League of Legends setting. Riot regularly produces music themes for champions, in-game events, and other festivities, in addition to the annual Worlds anthem. Interestingly, there are a number of bands in the League of Legends universe that feature well-liked champions. League of Legends Boy Band: Revealing the Next Hit Musical Sensation

Riot Games is supposedly planning to bring an all-boy band to the League of Legends realm. This has been a hot topic of rumours for a while now. This musical group has given data miners and leakers great confidence as to its possible inclusion. More fans’ curiosity was recently sparked by Riot Games’ mysterious image, which was shared on social media. Below is the current knowledge we have regarding the boy band from League of Legends.

The Long-Awaited League of Legends Boy Band

There has long been talk in the community about forming a League of Legends boy band. Fans have been waiting impatiently for an all-boy counterpart since Riot Games debuted the Korean Pop (K-Pop) female group K/DA, which includes Ahri, Kai’Sa, Evelynn, Akali, and Seraphine. The fact that several musicians, notably Baekhyun of Exo and members of the K-Pop group Ateez (San, Seong Hwa, Yeosang, Yunho, Seonghwa), had alluded to a possible partnership with Riot Games during the previous few months was what spurred this excitement. Fans conjectured that a Korean boy band would arise in the League of Legends realm as a result of this partnership.

Baekhyun of Exo fueled the flames even more on May 14, 2023, when he disclosed on Twitter that he was writing a song inspired by “LoL.” Many thought that the K-Pop boy band might actually be more than just a rumour after Riot Games released the Worlds 2023 song “GODS,” featuring NewJeans.

Potential Champions in the League of Legends Boy Band

There were some wild Rift-related rumours circulating regarding the champions in the League of Legends boy band. The well-known leaker and data miner Big Bad Bear hypothesised that the release of Yone’s Prestige Skin would occur at the same time as the possible debut of this boy band. Furthermore, there is a rumour that the remaining members of this K-Pop boy band are the champions that made brief cameos in Arena Mode on Wild Rift.

The Wild Rift Arena Mode cameos include:

Building on these speculations, another prominent data miner and YouTuber, SkinSpotlight, tweeted about the full lineup for the codenamed “Boy Band” skin line:

  • Kayn (Legendary)
  • Yone (+ Prestige)
  • Ezreal
  • Sett
  • K’Sante
  • Aphelios

He went on to say, “The first 4 [skins] + Prestige will also be coming to WR [Wild Rift], while K’Sante and Aphelios won’t be included since they don’t exist there.” Riot Games teased fans on October 12 with a tweet that said, “We’re working on it,” and an image that included a lot of interesting hints about the boy band.

Some of the clues from the image include:

  • Aphe_mix on the keyboard, possibly referring to Aphelios’ mix
  • K’Sante’s symbol on the car key
  • A moon symbol on the dip tea

Many fans have speculated that the image is from Aphelios’ point of view, which could explain the moon tea and his name on the keyboard.

The Power of Original Music in League of Legends

Riot Games has long understood the value of using its own music to promote in-game skins and cosmetics to its player base. PentaKill, an online heavy metal band that made its debut in 2014, was the first band formed specifically for this purpose. Two other legendary bands, K/DA and True Damage, rose to prominence in the League of Legends universe after that.

The boy band’s entry in the game and its significance in the Runeterra universe are now much anticipated by the community. If fans are lucky, they may even get to see this exciting new band live during the Worlds 2023 grand finals—something akin to the incredible shows that True Damage and K/DA have given in the past.
