The former actress spent time with members of the Vancouver-based Justice for Girls group, exchanging ideas on topics bordering on the girl child, “young women’s leadership,” and “justice and equality for teen girls living in poverty in Canada.”

Meghan, who’s currently in Canada alongside Prince Harry to promote the next Invictus Games, wore a £1,349 Ralph Lauren Charmain Silk Wide-Leg trousers and a white jumper and paired it with her Edge of Ember ‘Wave’ Earrings. She adorned herself with delicate jewelry and kept her makeup naturally low-key.

The Duchess of Sussex, who has been a vocal supporter of gender equality, notably inspired the girls as she engaged in conversations about their struggles for justice. She had previously visited the charity in 2020 when she and Prince Harry left their royal duties.

They noted the value of having a high-profile figure like her engage in conversations that bring attention to pressing social issues.

“Justice for Girls was delighted to have a return visit from Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex,” the statement began, per the Daily Mail. “Joined by Jessica Lake and Lauri Thompson from the Lake family’s All One Fund, we had an engaging and heartfelt conversation about justice and equality for teen girls living in poverty in Canada and around the world.”

They went on, “Together with our teen interns, staff, directors, and board members, we talked about Justice for Girls’ decades of work advocating for girls’ access to education, freedom from violence, Indigenous rights, and environmental justice.”
