Miley Cyrus Granted Three-Year Restraining Order Against Obsessed Fan

Miley Cyrus can now have a sigh of relief after the court ordered an obsessed fan to stay away from her and her property.

As we reported, the singer filed a restraining order against the allegedly “violent” fan last month, claiming he showed up at her house and attempted to open the front gate.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, during an October 16 hearing, Cyrus was granted her request for a restraining order to keep this person away.

After review of the moving papers, and upon consideration of the testimony presented by the (Miley’s attorney, the Court rules as follows…(Miley’s) Request for a civil harassment restraining order is granted. The court finds that (she) has sustained their burden of proof.”

As a result, Cyrus’s stalker was issued a restraining order for “a period of three (3) years and it shall expire on October 16, 2026.

The Blast broke the news that the “Flowers” singer filed a restraining order after the male stalker showed up at her Los Angeles home and tried to access her home. Luckily, he was stopped by her security team who called the LAPD to remove him from the premises. The fan was, however, not taken in because he didn’t successfully break into the singer’s property.

After the incident, a background check was run on the individual, revealing a long and violent criminal history. He was accused of arson, burglary, and carjacking among other charges. Shockingly, the man was recently released from San Quintin California State Prison.

Not only did he show up at her property, but he always sent letters that Cyrus described as sexual and violent. During his time behind bars, he wrote letters to Cyrus and claimed he would commit suicide f the singer didn’t respond to his messages.

“The pattern of behavior demonstrates a mentally disturbed individual who has a dangerous fixation and/or obsession with Ms. Cyrus,” the Malibu singer’s legal team wrote in their filing.

Luckily, the court system recognized the issues and intervened.
