Controversial rapper Kodak Black might be facing the full wrath of the law again after being arrested for the possession of illegal drugs, specifically cocaine.
Black was reportedly taken into custody while in Plantation, Florida on Thursday and has been charged with possession of cocaine and tampering with physical evidence.
Kodak Black Charged With Possession of Cocaine
Black, real name Bill Kapri, was booked into the Broward County jail on Thursday following his arrest on charges of cocaine possession, improperly parking or stopping a vehicle, and fabricating or tampering with physical evidence.
This recent arrest of Black comes amid a slew of run-ins with the law in recent years. As we reported in July last year, Black was just arrested on account of drug possession in South Florida.

At the time, the rapper was charged with trafficking in oxycodone and being in possession of a controlled substance. He was later booked into the Fort Lauderdale jail in Florida on Friday and eventually released on bail on Saturday.
Kodak Black Found With 31 White Tablets Of Oxycodone
The Florida Highway Patrol released a statement that revealed that the troopers pulled the 25-year-old musician over because he was in a purple Dodge Durango with window tints that “appeared to be darker than the legal limit.”
According to CNN, after pulling the car over, the police officers detected a marijuana smell and then conducted a search of his SUV. The search uncovered around 31 white tablets in a small clear bag and almost $75,000 in cash. The suspicious tablets were later revealed to be oxycodone.
Oxycodone is mainly prescribed as a severe pain medication and is considered highly addictive. Record checks also unveiled that the vehicle tag and driver’s license were expired.
Kodak Black Was Later Released On Bail
After his arrest and detainment, the “Zeze” rapper was released on bail the next day. The rapper’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, released a statement noting that they would try to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
“We will get him a bond today and move forward with resolving the matter quickly.” He added, “Never judge a case based on an arrest. There are facts and circumstances that give rise to a defense, especially in this case.”
This wasn’t the rapper’s first visit to prison. Black has been arrested multiple times on charges that include the sexual assault of a teen, falsifying documents, and trespassing,
