Sid talks Perspective Team Unite Against Cheaters in BGMI

The league stage of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 has recently finished, attracting attention for more than simply thrilling gameplay. Controversies, particularly player bans during official live streams, have cast a shadow on the event. Prominent members of the BGMI community and esports enthusiasts have not been shy in expressing their concerns about the tournament’s frequent issue of cheating. Sid talks Perspective Team Unite Against Cheaters in BGMI

During a recent live stream, S8UL Siddhant “Sid” Joshi, Team Soul’s Manager, discussed the prospect of teams banding together to combat cheats. While noting the potential for teams to stand together, Sid also emphasized the community’s incapacity to openly discuss and confront the problem unless directly touched.

Sid wants teams to take action against cheaters in BGMI?

“The main issue lies in the fact that those favoring unity only speak their concerns irregularly, moving from one season to the next,” Sid said in response to a viewer’s inquiry on why established teams don’t take a unified stand against cheating opponents. The most recent occurrence was Entity’s Manager expressing real concerns about cheats, which I appreciated. Several Tier 1 teams, on the other hand, show little interest in creating unity or making groups to tackle these difficulties.”

Sid went on to identify specific teams that he believes could take a stand against cheaters. He listed Team Insane, Blind Esports, Hydra Esports, Team Soul, Team XSpark, Entity, Revenant Esports, Gladiators Esports, Gods Reign, Global Esports, Godlike Esports, Enigma Gaming, OR Esports, and Orangutan Gaming. According to Sid, these fourteen teams should unite and collectively decide not to participate in events until the game’s publisher addresses the cheating problem.

“Do you really think any of these fourteen organizations are willing to unite against the issue?” Sid asked, skeptical of the possibility of such unanimity. They will never come together. No one will be willing to unify until they face consequences, and this has been the case for the longest time. Despite almost 10 years of esports in India, there has been no organizational unity, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.”

BMPS 2023 Grand Finals

As the Grand Finals of BMPS 2023 approach on 15th December, fans are eager to witness stellar performances from the teams and players. Hopes are high that the prevailing issue of cheating will not distract them, allowing the LAN event to showcase the best of Battlegrounds Mobile India esports.
