In the previous episode, there were quite a few twists and turns in the plot of the story. Alpha, a character from the Shadow Garden, warned her team to keep a low profile as they hunted down goons from the Garter Corporation who were causing trouble with Mitsugoshi’s transport trains. She was worried that their rivals might discover that the Shadow Garden was secretly running Mitsugoshi.
Things took a surprising turn when Alpha learned about counterfeit bills that could potentially lead to a financial crisis. She was shocked and didn’t want this to be connected to the Shadow Garden. Meanwhile, Gettan sent his Clovers to gather information at Mitsugoshi headquarters, and Gamma volunteered to handle them on a whim.
Gamma, although clumsy, managed to defeat the remaining Clovers in a somewhat accidental way, which left Alpha and Nu confused. Cid, another character, switched to his John Smith persona to meet with Yukime and discovered that the counterfeit bills seemed even more authentic than the real ones.
Yukime revealed her plan to take revenge on Gettan for killing her family and others.
