Instead of punishing the noble raiders directly because of their political connections, Naofumi flipped up the heat and sold them into cruel slavery in Silvelt. Naofumi restored Sadeena and Fohl’s stats in an inspiring ceremony back in the capital, formally welcoming them into his growing party of dedicated allies.
The legendary former Staff Hero Aultcray felt a strange affinity with the recently liberated Fohl and Alto at the castle, prompting some introspection on his part. After meeting with the sage queen, Naofumi gained insight into Aultcray’s legendary background as a ferocious, unyielding warrior motivated by a deep desire for vengeance following the tragic death of his sister.
The Queen also disclosed, with hope, that she had found the location of the lost Spear Hero Motoyasu, paving the way for further dramatic occurrences.
Naofumi didn’t identify the famed Murder Clown from the Coliseum when she first arrived in Lurolona Village disguised as a normal girl; it wasn’t until she put on her trademark mask that he realized who she really was.
Naofumi rejected S’yne, fearing she would trick him, and went in search of Motoyasu. He saw Elena, a previous ally, reject Motoyasu in the village. The Spear Hero, feeling ashamed, ran away when Naofumi got close.
After losing to Naofumi in their battle against the Spirit Tortoise, Motoyasu was left for dead, as related by Elena. Naofumi ran upon Ren during his search; the two of them talked about his fallen party members. Malty emerged right when Naofumi was trying to enlist Ren, and he plotted to have the two heroes fight each other and him.
