Top Players To Buy For Gameweek 12

Following many FPL stars’ blank performance, Fantasy Premier League managers find themselves in a scramble, having the need to reconfigure their teams in preparation for the upcoming period. Here are four players that can shine in gameweek 12. Managers face the dilemma of deciding whether making one or two early-week transfers is a worthwhile risk or if it’s wiser to hold off until after the European matches, potentially leading to higher player prices.

After another round of Fantasy Premier League matches, managers are reflecting on a weekend that brought either frustration or happiness, featuring some expected results, numerous goals, etc. This week offers another chance to regroup, make adjustments to your team, or even use your wildcard to make substantial changes while some in-form players remain relatively affordable. As the Premier League enters its 12th week, here are ten players we believe could make an impact.

Ben White – Arsenal

Mikel Arteta tends to rotate his defense in matches against teams facing relegation. However, Ben White has started every Premier League game this season and has developed a strong partnership with Bukayo Saka on the right wing. Burnley’s recent defensive errors have received a lot of attention, but their problems in attack are just as concerning. They are currently the lowest-scoring team in the Premier League, having managed only eight goals in their first 11 games. White has already contributed a goal and an assist, and he leads Arsenal’s defenders in shots on target (four) and chances created (10).

Kaoru Mitoma – Brighton

Brighton, who are new to European competition, have struggled with the Thursday to Sunday schedule, as evident in their recent run of five Premier League matches without a win. Despite this, they are likely to score a couple of goals against Sheffield United and Kaoru Mitoma appears to be the safest choice among Roberto De Zerbi’s forwards, as he was Brighton’s standout performer in their recent match against Everton. He leads the team in shots (20) and is second in chances created (17), behind Pascal Gross.

Mohammed Kudus – West Ham

For FPL managers looking for a lower-owned and more affordable option from West Ham’s attack, Mohammed Kudus is worth considering. He has played the full 90 minutes in West Ham’s last two league games and is starting to find his form, with recent goals against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup and Brentford in the league.

Rasmus Hojlund – Man United

This pick is more about the fixture than current form. Rasmus Hojlund has been experiencing a goal drought in the Premier League, with no goals in his last eight matches and 572 minutes. While it’s a risk, there’s a good chance that Manchester United will score at least once against Luton, as Luton has yet to keep a clean sheet in 13 matches in all competitions this season. They have been particularly leaky on the road, conceding 14 goals in six away league games, twice as many as they have at home.
