Cuoco appeared on The View with strands of her hair looking out of place. Something also seemed off about her eyes despite her cheerful storytelling. “Kaley seems to be under the influence,” one wrote under the YouTube clip’s comments. Another user quipped: “Maybe she inherited that trait after playing Penny for so long. Penny loved her wine!”
Someone added, “I am convinced kaley partied the night before.” Interestingly, co-host Abby Huntsman talked about pairing TBBT with vodka to ease her fear of flying, to which Cuoco said, “That’s a great combination.” For those who didn’t know, the actress, who plays an alcholic in The Flight Attendant, loves a good party herself. However, she admitted to cutting back recently. “The older I get, I just don’t like the way I feel,” she said in 2022.
“When you’re younger, the hangover is half the time — I don’t have time to feel like that anymore,” she continued. “I love going out with my girls and having a glass of wine or, on a hot day, having a Smirnoff Ice, cold over ice. But I don’t like the way I feel after a lot of drinks so I actually like to mix [drinks that contain alcohol] with sparkling water so you’re getting kind of a half and half. My tolerance has changed and I’m definitely OK with that.”
Kaley Cuoco was only drinking water, not real alcohol, throughout The Flight Attendant. She said she “had to pee every second” while filming.

The View Hosts Didn’t Take Kaley Cuoco’s “Dog Creeper” Joke That Well
During the interview, Cuoco talked about living in NYC. When Huntsman asked how she’s liking the city, she said: “I love it. I have a place in Brooklyn… My apartment building is right in between a dog park and a rabbit rescue so it’s like built for me. I’m the girl that goes sits in the park and watches the dogs run around like a creeper because I can get kind of my fill.”
The hosts made some awkward laughs while the audience thought it was a hilarious way of describing the actress’ love for animals. “And then I go into the pet store and I have to see the rabbits,” Cuoco continued, despite the lack of comedic response from the hosts. Joy Behar just went on to ask the Meet Cute star about people “not bothering” her in NYC unlike in L.A.
Cuoco then said, “I do not get recognized here at all; even when I’m trying to.” She recalled an incident with Cook where “this really cool bar in the middle of nowhere” asked her for an ID. “My husband was looking at me, and he’s like ‘Don’t do it.’ I’m like, ‘I have to.’ So I go, ‘Do you know who I am?’”
The “guy bouncer” said “no” and “had no idea” who she was, so she asked, “Can I Google myself? Can I show you,” but the man “did not care at all.” Ana Navarro quipped, “Kaley, I would literally pay somebody to ask me for my ID. Kaley Cuoco Laughed About Not Living With Then-Husband Karl Cook On The View
The View made sure to ask Cuoco about her unconventional living arrangement with her equestrian husband back then. “Kaley, you and your husband got married last June… You made a lot of news when you mentioned you weren’t living together yet, and you even battled divorce rumors. That seems crazy,” said Meghan McCain. Cuoco said the rumors were coming “every day.”
“I don’t know why it’s so interesting to people to talk about [my marriage],” she continued. Behar said it’s because of who she is, but the actress joked, “Not in New York.” Cuoco kept laughing it off. She’d always emphasized that their living arrangement was no big deal. “I’ve made headlines saying that we don’t live together yet, and people went crazy. They couldn’t believe it,” she explained to the hosts.
“‘Cause of work and his business and his horses are like few hours away from where I was currently living,” she added. “And we’re actually building our house together right now, so we just haven’t been under the same roof. But by the way, it’s been working great… We love it.” The two finalized their divorced in June 2022. They split due to their lives “following different paths.”
