Gary Graham’s work within the “Star Trek” universe had a significant impact on fans of the franchise. Graham was incredibly active in fan spaces, often popping up at various conventions, such as Roster Con, Vul Con, and the Star Trek Official Convention, to name a few. While speaking with Sci-Fi Bulletin, Graham revealed what fans were most eager to talk about at the events. “They want to know about ‘Star Trek’ and there’s some fascinating questions that come up, mostly about things that I’ve never thought about, which opens up all kind of introspection and recounting my experiences,” said Graham. “So, for that, it’s great fun for me, answering questions from people who I regard as friends rather than fans.”

Given the intense outpouring of love across social media, it’s clear that Graham’s fans regarded him with similar affection. “Gary Graham, perhaps known best for his portrayals of Matt Sikes on the Alien Nation TV series and Soval on #StarTrek: Enterprise, has passed away. Our paths crossed here and there at cons and he was always approachable and appreciative to his fans. RIP, sir,” tweeted one fan alongside a photo of Graham at a con. A second fan posted another photo of themselves and Graham at a meet and greet. “Sad to hear about the passing of #GaryGraham. I absolutely loved his work on #StarTrek as well as #AlienNation. RIP Gary,” they wrote.

Our thoughts are with Graham’s family, friends, and supporters.
