In the clip, taken from the show’s fifth episode titled: The Way Out, both Kurt and Wyatt are seen onscreen together for the first time in the series.
Lee, who was in handcuffs and being held in Monarch’s custody, was shown old footage of Wyatt’s likeness to the older version of his character, who is his real-life father.
The dual role sees Kurt, who welcomed Wyatt in 1986 with his partner Goldie Hawn, as an older Lee reflecting on his involvement with Monarch in the 1950s.
The series follows the story of how his children then begin “following in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization,” the official synopsis for the series teases.
“The dramatic saga – spanning three generations – reveals buried secrets and the ways that epic, earth-shattering events can reverberate through our lives,” the synopsis continues.
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters series largely takes place sometime after 2014’s Godzilla, which kicked off Legendary Pictures’ ongoing MonsterVerse.
It first hit screens last month and has become a firm fan favourite and has been slated for a second series.
