“Fast and Furious” actor Vin Diesel has been accused of sexual battery by a former assistant, per Rolling Stone. In the lawsuit, filed on December 21, 2023, Asta Jonasson claims the actor sexually assaulted her in the fall of 2010 during the filming of “Fast Five,” which took place in Atlanta.
Jonasson alleged that, in September 2010, she was asked to wait for Diesel in his St.Regis hotel suite, during which he was accompanied by hostesses from a club. As soon as the hostess left, the former assistant claimed Diesel grabbed her wrists and took her to his bed. It was at this time that Jonasson said the actor groped her breasts, kissed her chest, and ran his hands along her waist and upper legs, including her inner thighs. Despite her protests, the former assistant said she was afraid to “forcibly refuse her supervisor,” according to Vanity Fair. Things moved outside the bedroom as Jonasson tried to escape, but Diesel allegedly continued to grope her and masturbate in front of her. He eventually let her go and she was left in the suite for hours before receiving a call revealing she’d been fired from her job.
