Craig Conover: ‘It’s not the end of the world’ if Paige DeSorbo and I break up

Craig Conover confessed for the first time that he could imagine a future without girlfriend Paige DeSorbo.

The Sewing Down South co-founder, 34, was discussing the couple’s long-distance relationship on Thursday’s episode of “Southern Charm” when he admitted, “It’s not the end of the world if we don’t end up together.”

The revelation caused DeSorbo, 31, to have a shocked expression on her face, which prompted Conover to further explain why it’s a positive thing that he feels self-fulfilled.

“Now, I believe that I’ve become a stable person with or without you,” the Bravolebrity told his girlfriend.

“I know that you got me there, but I really feel stable in myself to the point where, like, I could let you go. I would be really sad, but I wouldn’t freak out, if that makes sense.”

Despite his candid remarks, Conover still wanted to make sure that he and DeSorbo are in good standing, asking her, “But, like, do you hope it works out with me?”

DeSorbo replied with a laugh and said, “Yes!,” adding, “I wouldn’t be here. I would be in New York.”

The “Giggly Squad” podcast co-host lives in Manhattan full time, but often travels to Charleston, SC, where Conover resides full time, every couple of days to visit him and stay at his house.

Meanwhile, the attorney, for his part, also flies up north often to see DeSorbo in the Big Apple.

The couple has had this arrangement since their relationship began in the fall of 2021.

Fans and co-stars have often asked the pair if one of them plans to relocate — given that they have now been dating for two years — but DeSorbo has been hesitant to move into the next phase of her life.

“If the roles were reversed and Craig, as a 30-year-old man, said he wanted to focus on his career and wait to get married, everyone would praise him and tell him he has a good head on his shoulders,” she told The Post in May.

“But when it comes to me saying it, people assume things: ‘Oh, you don’t love your boyfriend.’ This could not be further from the truth.”

Aside from starring on her own Bravo reality show “Summer House,” which films in the Hamptons, DeSorbo also works as a fashion influencer and has more job opportunities for that in NYC.

Conover has ties to the South because, aside from shooting “Southern Charm” there, his business Sewing Down South’s warehouse and offices are also based there.

In April, DeSorbo cried on an episode of “Summer House” over the idea of having to move when her boyfriend asked about the next steps in their relationship.

“I would be changing my whole life. I have no friends in Charleston. My whole career is here,” she said with tears in her eyes before adding that she would also have a hard time living away from her mom.
