Donald Trump ‘not so cocky’ as Georgia case ‘sets in,’ insiders say

RICO not so suave.

According to a source, the latest 41-count indictment tying former President Donald Trump and 18 others to efforts to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election results is getting to the usually unflappable pol.

The customarily Teflon Don is “showing signs that it’s wearing on him,” says the insider.

An insider tells us that the Georgia indictment has “brought about a change,” adding, “he’s not so confident anymore. He’s not acting so cocky anymore. He’s not lashing out so much. The arrogance is gone.”

The source added, “It feels like it’s all setting [in] for him now.”

Trump has been indicted with cronies including ex-Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows under the state’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.

Trump has called the charges a “witch hunt” and “politically-inspired.”

But behind closed doors, our source says that Trump is “nervous,” because “there are so many defendants, he believes that a bunch of them are going to make deals and flip on him.”

Attorney Jenna Ellis — who has also been charged — asked on social media platform X, “Why isn’t MAGA, Inc. funding everyone’s defense?”

Trump’s bond has been set at $200,000, and he has been ordered to refrain from intimidating his co-defendants or witnesses, and not communicate about the facts of the case with them.

He has said he will turn himself into Fulton County authorities on Thursday, posting to his social media platform Truth Social, “Can you believe it? I’ll be going to Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday to be ARRESTED by a Radical Left District Attorney, Fani Willis.”

Co-defendants, including lawyer John Eastman and bail bondsman Scott Hall, have already surrendered.

This is the fourth criminal indictment brought against Trump since leaving office.

He has denied all wrongdoing, and co-defendants in Georgia have denied the charges.

Eastman said in a statement: “My legal team and I will vigorously contest every count of the indictment in which I am named, and also every count in which others are named, for which my knowledge of the relevant facts, law, and constitutional provisions may prove helpful.”

Giuliani has called the case an “affront to American Democracy,” while Meadows filed an emergency motion asking a judge to move the case to avoid arrest.
