Dorit Kemsley says marriage woes with husband PK got ‘progressively worse’ before he quit drinking: ‘All-time bad’

Dorit Kemsley has opened up about the marriage troubles she and her husband Paul “PK” Kemsley have had to navigate through together.

During part two of Wednesday’s Season 13 “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reunion, Dorit admitted that alcohol played a big part in their struggles.

“After we wrapped [filming], things got progressively worse,” the mom of two shared. “And him and I were at probably an all-time bad.”

Dorit revealed that her husband Paul “PK” Kemsley’s drinking contributes to their struggles. Bravo

The pair’s relationship suffered several hiccups due to PK’s constant traveling and Dorit’s PTSD following a 2021 armed home invasion.

The pair were on different pages for a while, and PK even stayed at a hotel as they navigated uncharted waters in their union.

“PK was drinking a lot and he’s a drinker,” the Bravolebrity explained. “I just think that it’s very difficult to have clear-headed conversations when he’s drinking so much, so he gave up drinking,” she said, adding that PK had been sober for “49 days” at the time of filming.

Dorit said the pair are currently “working through things,” and PK is “doing better than ever.”

“That was a very pivotal moment, so things are — knock on wood — as good as they can possibly be,” she added.

Despite that, PK was spotted without his wedding ring as he grabbed a bite to eat with author Sadie Turner in LA.

The couple previously worked through some of their marital woes on-camera, but he was gone the majority of the season in London for 39 days.

At one point, the pair, who have been married since 2015, sat down with her therapist and argued over the “severity” of her PTSD.

PK went on to call her “high maintenance,” while Dorit claimed he’d become “more harsh” and “mean” to her over recent years.

Dorit — who admitted to Page Six in November 2023 that she felt “disconnected” from PK — later questioned “what the future holds” if he can’t “be there for me.”

Right after the most recent “RHOBH” season began airing, the couple had to publicly deny they were separating after rumors began circulating online.
