Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner in turf war over divorce location as split proceedings rage on

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are entering a turf war over where the location of their divorce proceedings will take place.

The Jonas Brothers band member is fighting for the case to be heard in the US, while the “Game of Thrones” alum is hoping to have it occur in England, where she wants to raise their daughters, Willa and Delphine.

A hearing took place in Miami Wednesday with the court deciding that it wouldn’t make a final decision on parenting until Turner’s lawsuit in New York, which she filed last week claiming Jonas refused to give back their kids’ passports, has made its definitive ruling as to whether the case should be heard in the UK or Florida.

The Miami judge determined it would still hold a hearing the week of Dec. 11 regarding the “Dark Phoenix” actress’ request for dismissal — regardless of the New York case’s timetable and outcome.

However, because the “Dancing Feet” crooner filed for divorce and served Turner with papers first, he has an advantage against the UK courts.

Attorneys for Jonas and Turner didn’t return Page Six’s requests for comment.

Following Turner’s bombshell lawsuit last week, in which she also claimed she found out about her divorce “through the media,” she and Jonas came to an agreement that the kids would remain in New York for the time being.

In a statement to Page Six, the “Devotion” actor vehemently denied withholding their passports and “abducting” their daughters.

“This is an unfortunate legal disagreement about a marriage that is sadly ending,” Jonas’ rep said in a statement to Page Six at the time.

“When language like ‘abduction’ is used, it is misleading at best, and a serious abuse of the legal system at worst. The children were not abducted.”

The judge in the Miami-based hearing Wednesday scheduled a hearing for December — regardless of the outcome of Turner’s lawsuit in New York.

Jonas filed for divorce from Turner in a Miami court on Sept. 5 after four years of marriage, calling the union “irretrievably broken” in the court documents.

As rumors about who was to blame for the demise of the marriage swirled, the pair released a joint statement sharing that they came to the decision together.

“There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children,” the estranged couple shared in a joint statement on Instagram the day after Jonas filed.
