This princess is letting her hair down.
Kate Middleton rocked an unusually casual look as she was spotted by a fan at the Houghton Festival in Norfolk, England over the weekend — and she looked ready to rock out for her rare off-duty appearance.
The Princess of Wales, 41, showed off her clavicle as she sported an off-the-shoulder black top as she chats with friends in the photo, which was shared by X user @JazzWild_ Tuesday and captioned, “one of the boys snapped kate middleton @ houghton 🤣.”
She tucked the long-sleeved style into a pair of black skinny jeans and wore her go-to Veja Esplar sneakers ($150) with gold detail.
The stylish kicks are not only a favorite of the Princess of Wales, but her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, also sports Veja’s sustainable styles.
The royal wore her hair in a straight style, tucking it behind her ears to show off an enormous pair of gold chandelier earrings that resemble the Sezane pair she wore to Royal Ascot in June.

The outfit was certainly a departure from the usual country casual looks she’s worn for off-duty events or her signature coat dresses, bringing to mind the styles Middleton wore before she married Prince William in 2011.
The 24-hour music festival features plenty of techno and house tunes, and while it might seem like an unusual outing for the princess, the event was held on the expansive grounds of her friends’ Houghton Hall estate.
According to the Standard, Middleton was visiting longtime pals David Cholmondeley and Rose Hanbury — the woman Prince William was accused of having an affair with several years ago — at their home when they suggested heading over to the music festival.
“Kate was hesitant, but eventually agreed and attended with a large security detail,” the outlet reported.
The Princess of Wales, who is seen holding a cocktail in the photo, was also spotted “ordering spicy margaritas and eating affogato” during her night at Houghton.
