Kathy Griffin trolls Britney Spears’ knives video in pink bikini, claims singer is ‘too free’

Kathy Griffin has a message for the #FreeBritney movement.

The stand-up comedian told “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” viewers on Tuesday that Britney Spears’ supporters “didn’t have a plan” when they rallied for the end of her conservatorship.

“I fear the #FreeBritney people, I do, but sometimes, a person can be too free,” Griffin, 62, said as Jimmy Kimmel laughed.

“All I’m saying is, I love you gays and I love you #FreeBritney people, but you didn’t have a plan.”

During the interview, Kimmel played a video from Griffin’s Instagram account in which the actress imitated Spears’ viral September video dancing with knives.

In the spoof footage, Griffin clarified that her knife and spatula were “not a prop.”

The Emmy winner waved the utensils around while wearing a pink bikini and black Hunter rain boots in the social media upload, shared Tuesday.

“You guys, please come see me this Friday, Oct. 6, at the Mirage in Las Vegas,” she said. “I’ll be making fun of everyone and everything, including myself.”

Griffin’s followers praised her trolling in the comments, with “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum Meghan King calling the Grammy nominee’s “body fire.”

After writing in her caption that she “started playing in the kitchen with knives,” the songwriter edited it to add, “Don’t worry they are NOT real knives !!! Halloween is soon 🙈🙈🙈 !!!”

The “Crossroads” actress later clarified that she had been copying Shakira’s performance from the MTV Video Music Awards earlier that same month.

Fans defended her dance, with one tweeting, “Shakira did this in front of millions yet not one person said s–t. this isnt a big deal, it’s literally fake knives.”

Spears’ concerning footage went viral last month.

However, police conducted a wellness check on the performer after her posts left “somebody close to” her “really concerned.”

Spears addressed the check via Instagram, writing that “no one needs to worry or call the police.”

The “Toxic” singer has had a tumultuous year with her and husband Sam Asghari breaking up in August after one year of marriage.

She told social media users not to “worry” after a welfare check was performed.

She “is not on good terms with her family,” a source told Page Six at the time, calling the Grammy winner “isolated.”

Britney began dating Asghari, 29, in 2016, and the model stayed by her side as she fought to end her 13-year conservatorship.

Asghari has defended his estranged wife post-split, specifically telling off “bully” Donald Trump Jr. for roasting her knives video.
