It wasn’t the trolls that convinced Larsa Pippen to delete her most recent bikini picture, but rather her father.
Earlier this week, the “Real Housewives of Miami” star shared a picture where she lounged in a skimpy black bikini with one leg on a beach chair.
Although some followers praised her looks, others were turned off by the provocative pose — including her dad.
“My dad sent me a text yesterday and said, ‘You published a photo and I think you need to take it down,’ ” Pippen, 49, told People on Thursday. “And when my dad texts me stuff like that, I listen!”
Pippen said she “didn’t want to upset” her dad and decided that it “wasn’t worth” causing any tension between the two by keeping the sultry photo up on her feed.
“I think my dad got wind of all the stuff that was being put out there,” she explained. “My family’s really traditional and old-school — I’m the one that’s always pushing the envelope with them, you know?”
Although the mother of four has learned to navigate living in the spotlight over the years, her family hasn’t become accustomed to watching her life play out online.
“They’re not always happy with me. They’re very conservative,” she told the outlet. “They like to live very low-profile — they don’t like all the hoopla.”
“I don’t know, sometimes I feel like I shouldn’t do too much because I feel like they get affected by my actions,” she continued. “But I also have to live my life, you know?”
Despite feeling like she has to tone it down for the sake of her family, this isn’t the first time her dad has pushed back on her lifestyle.

In fact, Pippen revealed in October 2022 that her dad was to blame for her decision to stop posting on OnlyFans as frequently.
“So my dad called me, and my dad said a lot of people were calling him. … He said, ‘I don’t know what OnlyFans is, but we need to shut it down,’” Pippen explained.
Despite being “very active on OnlyFans” before the phone call with her dad, Pippen said it ruined her desire to use the “amazing” website.
“And since he did that, he took my sex appeal away. He just took it. So I haven’t been able to get back to where I was on my OnlyFans.”
Aside from her parents, Pippen told People that her four kids — Scotty Jr., 23, Preston, 22, Justin, 19, and Sophia, 15 — also get “a little embarrassed over things” she does online.
However, boyfriend Marcus Jordan doesn’t seem to mind.
