Mark Wahlberg reveals he crashed a frat party at daughter Ella’s college: ‘It was nuts’

Mark Wahlberg is catching up on his missed college experience well into his 50s.

The “Ted” actor, 52, revealed that he recently crashed a college frat party while he visited his daughter Ella for parents’ weekend at Clemson University in South Carolina.

“They were having the most fun I’ve ever seen anybody have, ever! Even more than her coming to Vegas,” Wahlberg told ET of his wild September visit. “I was at the frat house and, you know, a couple of spots in town.”

“It was nuts. Parents’ weekend was incredible,” he added.

In addition to Ella, 20, Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Durham share daughter Grace, 13, and sons Brendan, 15, and Michael, 17.

Wahlberg, for his part, never went to college.

The actor has been working in the entertainment industry since his teen years and said he often regrets not having had the college experience.

Wahlberg recalled the wild parents’ weekend visit in a recent interview. ET

Despite that, he admits that his life would have taken a completely different course had he gone on to pursue a higher education.

“I’d still be in college,” Wahlberg joked. “I would still be at the frat house. I’d be a 25th year senior.”

Wahlberg and Durham dropped Ella off at college back in January.

“On my way home from my first college drop off,” Durham captioned an Instagram selfie. “The emotions are running wild. 😞🥹😊😵‍💫.”

The proud mom appeared to be sitting on a private jet in the snap while wearing a “Homebody” sweatshirt.

The actor often has given updates on his daughter as she’s grown up, from dissing her two tattoos to praising her boyfriend, James.

It wasn’t just Ella packing up and moving off to start life in a new place.

Wahlberg revealed in October 2022 that he packed up his things and moved his family out of their plush $90 million California mansion in a bid for a “better life.”

He’s since said that the move to Las Vegas, Nev., has been a positive change in his children’s lives.

The actor listed his Beverly Hills home for a whopping $87.5 million in April 2022 after having purchased the colossal 30,500-square-foot estate in 2009 for only $8.25 million.

After deciding to leave his flashy property in The Golden State, the “Uncharted” actor secured an estate in Nevada for his family.
