News of Matthew Perry’s sudden death sent shockwaves throughout Hollywood Saturday.

The “Friends” actor died at age 54 due to an apparent drowning, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

First responders reportedly found the actor in his jacuzzi after his assistant reported a cardiac arrest, per the outlet.

However, officials told TMZ that no drugs were found at the scene and they do not suspect foul play.

Warner Bros. reacted to the news via Instagram, sharing a photo of Perry from his time in “Friends.”

“We are devastated to learn of Matthew Perry’s passing. He was a true gift to us all. Our heart goes out to his family, loved ones, and all of his fans,” they captioned the emotional post.

Following the news, several celebrities took to social media to mourn the loss of the beloved actor.

Piers Morgan was one of the first celebs to react on Twitter, sharing a photo of Perry from his time on the hit sitcom.

“RIP Matthew Perry, 54,” Morgan tweeted. “The Friends star was a great actor, but by his own admission, a very tormented guy. His recent autobiography about his addiction-ravaged life was one of the most powerful, honest and revealing I’ve ever read. Such sad news.”

Selma Blair voiced her dismay on Instagram, calling Perry her “oldest boy friend.”

“All of us loved Matthew Perry, and I did especially,” she captioned a selfie of the two. “Every day. I loved him unconditionally. And he me. And I’m broken. Broken hearted. Sweet dreams Matty. Sweet dreams.”

Olivia Munn shared several of her favorite clips from the show on her Instagram Story, writing, “Oh no 💔.”

“He struggled so much with addiction and was brave enough to be open and honest about it. I’m so sorry to his family and friends who are getting the news today. Nothing short of heartbreaking. Rest in love, Matthew Perry.”

According to TMZ, which was the first to report the news, the actor was found at his Los Angeles-area home Saturday after spending the morning playing pickleball for a few hours.

His assistant reportedly stepped out to run a couple of errands for Perry, yet when he returned, he found the actor unresponsive and called 911.

The Los Angeles Police Department later confirmed to Page Six that they responded to a call regarding a man “in his 50s” at “4:10 pm this afternoon.” However, they did not reveal the man’s identity.

While they could not confirm if the body was found in a tub, pool, or hot tub, the actor shared an eerie photo of himself lounging in his infinity pool less than one week before his passing.

“Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I’m Mattman,” he captioned the post.

A few days prior, Perry was also seen grabbing dinner with a close friend in Los Angeles.

The “Fools Rush In” star, who rose to fame in the ’90s, seemed to be in great spirits during his last known outing as he chowed down at a popular burger joint.
