Paris Saint-Germain have not made the start to the 2023/24 Ligue 1 campaign they would have expected and there is no let-up as they welcome Marseille to Parc des Princes in Le Classique on Sunday evening.
Luis Enrique’s primary task is to win the Champions League and PSG took a good first step in midweek by winning at home against Borussia Dortmund. Meanwhile, Marseille were involved in a great game against Ajax in Amsterdam which ended 3-3.
Le Classique is always one of the most interesting and fiery matches in the Ligue 1 calendar and it arrives with Marseille a point ahead of PSG in the league. Their fans will be desperate to make that four points by the end of the weekend.

There are still a number of injury issues for Enrique and PSG to deal ahead of this game, with Presnel Kimpembe, Sergio Rico, Nuno Mendes and Marco Asensio all set to miss the visit of Marseille.
The expectation is Enrique will name largely the same team that beat Dortmund in the Champions League, which means the likes of Goncalo Ramos and Lee Kang-in will have to take their places on the bench again.
