Sevilla vs Real Madrid – La Liga: TV channel, team news, lineups & prediction

There is an immense amount of attention on this Real Madrid side and what they could potentially achieve this season, and Sevilla do not currently look like a team that is going to cause them any major issues.

Sevilla may have played a game less than Real Madrid in La Liga, but Carlo Ancelotti’s side have got three times more points than their opponents on Saturday evening. Sevilla sit down in 14th place, whilst Real Madrid are top of the tree, having lost just one game.

Another factor here is that Sevilla have got a number of important players out injured and affecting their form, whilst Real Madrid are set to welcome David Alaba back from injury – a huge boost.

Here is all that you need to know about Sevilla vs Real Madrid in La Liga this weekend.

As mentioned, fitness is not Sevilla’s strong point right now. They are going to be without Marko Dmitrovic, Mariano Diaz, Erik Lamela and Alfonso Pastor for Madrid’s visit.

The good news is that Marcao and Tanguy Nianzou are now back from injury, but they are not expected to be fit enough to start this game. Fernando may not be fit enough to play so Ivan Rakitic could start. Sergio Ramos is expected to start against his former club.

Sevilla predicted lineup vs Real Madrid (4-2-3-1): Nyland; Navas, Bade, Ramos, Pedrosa; Rakitic, Sow; Ocampos, Suso, Lukebakio; En-Nesyri.

As for Real Madrid, the good news is that David Alaba is coming back from his injury and he is expected to immediately take his place in the back line alongside Antonio Rudiger.

There is also excitement building about Arda Guler and his possible recovery. He has made great progress in training but this game is expected to come slightly too soon for the Turkish youngster. They are still without the injured Andriy Lunin, Eder Militao and Thibaut Courtois. Nacho is suspended.

Real Madrid predicted lineup vs Sevilla (4-3-1-2): Kepa; Carvajal, Rudiger, Alaba, Camavinga; Valverde, Tchouameni, Kroos; Bellingham; Joselu, Vinicius.

This Real Madrid team does appear to be the real deal, whilst Sevilla look set for another deeply frustrating season from a domestic perspective, albeit with injury problems having an impact.

It is never a doddle to get three points away at Sevilla, even if they are struggling, but Madrid have got enough firepower in the squad to make it hard to imagine anything other than another three points.

Prediction: Sevilla 0-2 Real Madrid
