Tottenham predicted lineup vs Sheffield United – Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur are loving life under Ange Postecoglou and will hope to keep the good times rolling when Sheffield United come to town on Saturday.

Three straight wins before the international break left Spurs second in the Premier League and they’ll fancy their chances against a Blades side still looking for their first victory in the top flight.

Here’s how Postecoglou could set up for this one.

GK: Guglielmo Vicario – Vicario has settled in well in England and will expect to secure his third clean sheet of the season here.

RB: Pedro Porro – Clearly enjoying life under Postecoglou, Porro bagged an excellent assist last time out against Burnley.

CB: Cristian Romero – Romero had a bit of an injury scare during the international break but appears to be fighting fit and ready to butt heads with Oli McBurnie, perhaps literally.

CB: Micky van de Ven The Dutchman has thoroughly impressed so far this season, gelling perfectly with Romero and justifying the long-standing hype around him.

LB: Destiny Udogie Speaking of impressive performers, there’s a case to argue that Udogie has been the best left-back in the Premier League so far this year.

DM: Pape Matar Sarr – Sarr has broken through into a regular starting role and it’s not hard to see why. The youngster is crucial to Ange-ball.

DM: Yves Bissouma – The one-time forgotten man has captivated fans with some utterly sensational performances under Postecoglou, who clearly knows how to get the best out of his players.

RM: Dejan Kulusevski – The goals are yet to really get flowing for Kulusevski but it feels like just a matter of time before he finds his groove in this new system.

AM: James Maddison – To the surprise of absolutely nobody, Maddison has been a joy to watch since his move to Spurs. Two goals and two assists in four games tells you everything you need to know.

LM: Manor Solomon – After waiting patiently for his first real opportunity, Solomon bagged two assists last time out against Burnley. He deserves another start.

ST: Son Heung-min – Another who had a fitness scare while away, Son seems absolutely fine and will hope to net his fourth goal of the season here.
