Richarlison admitted during the international break he is planning to seek psychological help to deal with his form issues but does not expect to miss any time on the pitch.

Cristian Romero and Son Heung-min both suffered injury scares while away with their nations but are believed to be fine, but a final decision will have to be made on Giovani Lo Celso after the Argentinian missed his duty with a thigh problem.

Rodrigo Bentancur, Bryan Gil, Ryan Sessegnon and Alfie Whiteman all remain sidelined.

Tottenham predicted lineup (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma; Kulusevski, Maddison, Solomon; Son

Yasser Larouci picked up a back injury before the international break which will need to be evaluated, but John Egan bounced back from a knee problem to feature for the Republic of Ireland and should be raring to go again here.

Anel Ahmedhodzic and Rhian Brewster will also face late fitness tests.

Sheffield United predicted lineup (3-5-2): Foderingham; Basham, Egan, Robinson; Baldock, Hamer, Souza, Norwood, Thomas; Archer, McBurnie

While Spurs would have preferred not to disrupt their momentum, Postecoglou’s side will expect to continue their red-hot form with a win over a struggling Sheffield United.

The Blades are dealing with injury problems but are also coming to terms with the immense increase in quality in the Premier League and are yet to show any real signs of figuring out how to stay afloat this season.

Up against one of the most exciting teams in the league right now, that spells trouble for Sheffield United.

Prediction: Tottenham 3-0 Sheffield United
