Adam Sandler mourns ‘All My Children’ actor, ‘Grown-Ups’ co-star Alec Musser: ‘Can’t believe he is gone’

Adam Sandler paid tribute to his “Grown Ups” co-star Alec Musser after he died on Friday.

“I loved this guy. Cannot believe he is gone. Such a wonderful, funny good man,” the Sandler wrote alongside a photo of Musser in their 2010 film.

He added, “Thinking of Alec Musser and his family and sending all my love. A true great sweetheart of a person.”

Musser’s fiancée, Paige Press, thanked Sandler for his kind words in the comments.

“Thank you @adamsandler 🙏🏼 Alec was my fiancé. He spoke so highly of you and I know working on grownups was one of the best times of his life. My heart is so broken 💔,” she commented.

Press has been active on social media mourning the loss of her fiancée ever since she told TMZ on Saturday that he died at his home in Del Mar, Calif., on Friday night. He was 50.

A cause of death for Musser has not been released.

Musser was best known for playing Del Henry in “All My Children” from 2005 to 2007. He also made appearances on “Desperate Housewives” and “Rita Rocks.”

In addition to acting, Musser was a model and bodybuilder who frequently shared his fitness practices on Instagram. He was previously featured in several fitness magazines, including Men’s Health.

Musser posted his last Instagram photo just three days before he died.

His Instagram bio has since been changed to read, “RIP 4/11/1973 – 1/13/2024.”

Press has also been sharing several Instagram Stories praising her late partner.

“RIP to the love of my life,” Press captioned an Instagram Story over the weekend. “I will never stop loving you. My heart is broken.”

Press wrote on another photo of the two of them, “Today is the worst day of my life. We were so happy.”
