Dina Lohan wants a TV show and a facelift for Christmas

Dina Lohan is flirting with the idea of reality TV — and finding love again.

And it’s daughter Lindsay Lohan who has been encouraging Dina to step into the spotlight both personally and professionally.

“Lindsay is like, ‘You need a talk show,’” Dina, a mom of four, told The Post. “My kids are like, ‘Mommy, it’s your turn.’ I just heard Candace Bushnell is doing a show about dating in New York City.”

And Dina might be the perfect candidate for “Sex and The City” author’s new unscripted midlife dating series for the over-50 crowd, in which a group of women will mingle with a different group of men — younger ones, older ones, rich ones — each episode.

“We live in a swipe-left society; everything about relationships is so easily disposable and on to the next. I believe in marriage. I’m old school,” Dina said. “I’m looking for long-term love, not just today.”

Dina Lohan told The Post that daughter, Lindsay Lohan is encouraging her to land a TV show.

The Long Island native has traveled a rocky road when it comes to romance. She married Michael Lohan, her kids’ tabloid-figure dad, in 1985 and they divorced in 2007. In June 2020, she was engaged to Jesse Nadler — a man she met on Facebook but hadn’t met; that one didn’t pan out.

At one point in 2015, she thought she’d met a dream guy on the Bravo reality show “The Millionaire Matchmaker”: Peter Marc Jacobson, the ex-husband of “The Nanny” star Fran Drescher, who was there to help set him up with someone new.

“Fran was there and I thought her husband was so cute and I had no idea she was there to fix him up with another man. I found out and I was like, ‘I was picking him!’” said Dina, who somehow missed the story that Drescher’s high-school sweetheart and husband of 20 years had come out as gay. Instead, “[‘Real Housewives of New York City’ legend] Jill Zarin and Fran picked two different guys for me. It was fun.”

Dina told The Post she is ready to find love again. In 2015, she appeared on the Bravo reality show “The Millionaire Matchmaker.”

Now, Dina said, she’s writing a memoir and pitching a reboot of “Living Lohan” — the 2008 E! show that followed her and daughter Aliana as the latter tried to break into show business. To look and feel her best, Dina gifted herself a facelift for the holidays.

“I always believed in growing old gracefully, but if you want to do something for yourself, go for it,” she told The Post of working with Upper East Side plastic surgeon Ira Savetsky who performed a custom facial rejuvenation surgery earlier this month, including a facelift and necklift.

“I wanted to look like a younger version of myself. Most of my friends did this 10, 15 years ago.”

Dina said she recently got a facelift and necklift because “I wanted to look like a younger version of myself.”

Dina plans to spend the holidays with her family and two grandchildren — son Michel Lohan Jr.’s 2-year-old daughter, Isabel Scarlet, and Lindsay’s 5-month-old son Luai Shammas, whom she welcomed with husband Bader Shammas.

The Lohans tend to stick close. Mom manages the careers of model son Dakota, 27, and Aliana, who is a singer. With Lindsay starring in the Netflix rom-com “Irish Wish,” out in March 2024, Dakota has a small role and Ali has a song in the movie.

Dina said Lindsay is keen on playing the cool mom on and off screen. Deadline confirmed in May the 37-year-old actress will star in the forthcoming Disney sequel of 2003 film “Freaky Friday” with Jamie Lee Curtis, whom Dina said has been a mentor to Lindsay over the years.

Dina showed this photo to her plastic surgeon, Upper East Side-based Ira Savestsky, as reference for how she wanted to look again.

“They’re going to switch places. Jamie said, ‘I would like it if Lindsay played the grandmother and I’m the mother of the kids. The cool mom,’” Dina said. “Jamie is a sweetheart. She’s always stood by Lindsay and she’s just the real deal. She’s a really wonderful human being. She’s always been there.”

That includes when Lindsay served less than 90 minutes in jail for a 2007 DUI and experienced subsequent parole-violation run-ins, as well as troubles with substance-abuse issues and multiple rehab stints.

“There was always a love and a concern [from Curtis for Lindsay] — it really never separated. They’ve kept the relationship,” Dina said. “[Director] Nancy Meyers, as well, from ‘The Parent Trap.’ There’s certain people that have always stayed and had our back.

Dina told The Post she’s relishing being a grandmother to Luai, Lindsay Lohan’s 5-month-old son. Mom and daughter are seen here at a Christian Siriano fashion show in February 2023.
Even when Lindsay (right) struggled over the years, Dina said, her “Freaky Friday” co-star Jamie Lee Curtis (left) “had our back.” The two actresses are set to reprise their roles in a sequel.

“She’s been friends with Amanda Seyfried for a long time. She’s known Lacey [Chabert] since was five going out on auditions,” Dina said of Lindsay and her “Mean Girls” co-stars.

She also told The Post that Lindsay and the rest of her kids will contribute to her forthcoming memoir.

“[It’s about] what I’ve been through being a New York performer, navigating Hollywood, divorce, fighting adversity to protect my children,” said Dina, who appeared on “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2019.

“I want to help people … you can get through [to] the other side and still be successful. Even when you take a hit. It’s harder as you’re older but it also still drives you.”
